On Saturday, August 8, the world’s leading døds divers gathered in Fredrikstad, Norway for the final stop of the 2026 World Tour and the athletes’ last opportunity to qualify for the DØDS Diving World Championship in Arendal, Norway on August 22.
The level of competition was exceptionally high throughout the event: in the end, American Reagan Popoff delivered the strongest performance to take the win ahead of France’s Côme Girardot and Cerin Althaus of Switzerland.
In the teams category, Kvarøy took the victory, with 00Nation right behind and ZendyZone in third place.
Reagan Popoff crowned 2026 World Tour champion
The World Tour Final also decided the overall champions of the 2026 season. Following a strong campaign, Reagan Popoff secured the overall individual World Tour title, while Norway claimed the remaining two podium positions through Herman Solstad and Tore Vaage.
In the team competition, Team Kvarøy, represented by Reagan Popoff and Tore Vaage, secured the overall World Tour title, followed by Nordic Legends (featuring Simen 'Fisk' Mathisen and Herman Solstad) and Sudden Rush (with Jakob Liabø and Ravn Kamfjord).
Snowboarding legend Terje Håkonsen, team captain of Team Sudden Rush, therefore concluded the team’s debut season with a strong third-place finish overall.
An event for the whole family
DØDS World Tour Fredrikstad 2026 was not just an amazing display of athletic prowess and boldness, but also an event for all ages. Besides the official World Tour competition, the program for the day included an exhibition of young dødsers led by local legend Simen 'Fisk' Mathisen, a paddle board race, a live DJ, food trucks and many more amenities for both adults and kids.
