The DØDS Diving League (DDL), the global governing body for the sport of Døds freestyle diving, has announced today that Senderland, the extreme sports festival taking place in New Hampshire, USA, will host an official stop of the 2026 World Tour on July 4th.
The event will bring one of the fastest-growing extreme sports in the world to one of the most distinctive action sports gatherings in the United States. Taking place during the 250th anniversary of American independence, the stop will add a spectacular international competition to a weekend built around energy, creativity, community and extreme sports culture.
Following the opening stages of the 2026 season in Tobago and Aquafolies, the World Tour now heads back to the Americas for one of the most anticipated events of the year. The Senderland festival, which runs from July 2nd to July 5th, brings together athletes, creators, artists and fans in a unique private festival environment designed for high-adrenaline experiences and full-send performances.
The world’s best dødsers will compete for crucial World Tour points and qualification for the DDL World Championship at the end of the season. The Senderland stop will also continue strengthening the sport’s presence in the United States, where døds diving has been building increasing visibility through live events, social media and a growing community of action sports fans.
The competition features 30-40 athletes from all around the world competing in teams across four rounds, progressing from qualification to knockout stages, with 20, 10 and then 5 athletes reaching the final phases. Men and women compete in the same category. Dives are performed from 10-13 metre (33-43 feet) tall platforms, and judged on power, technical execution, style, landing and overall impression.
The event will be broadcast live internationally on the DDL channels, with distribution across multiple global platforms, bringing the energy of Senderland and New Hampshire to a worldwide audience.
“Senderland is exactly the kind of stage where dødsing belongs: bold, creative, intense and deeply connected to the action sports community,” said Paul Rigault, President of DØDS Diving League. “Returning to the United States on July 4th, during such a symbolic weekend for the country, makes this stop even more special for our athletes, our teams and our global fanbase.”
“Senderland was built for people who push limits, create unforgettable moments and bring communities together around extreme sports and culture,” said Matthew Short, President & Chief Creative Officer of Senderland. “Welcoming DØDS Diving League to New Hampshire brings a world-class international competition into that environment, and we are excited to see the energy it brings to the festival.”
