Extraordinary scenes in France! Over fifty of the very best dødsers in the global scene took part in the second event of the circuit - the DØDS Diving League World Tour Aquafolies 2026!

The Aquafolies waterpark, located at the La Plaine Tonique outdoor leisure centre near the French city of Bourg-en-Bresse, acted as a picturesque backdrop for the championship, which saw Norwegian star Oskar Hjertstedt take the victory after an incredible display of skills and fearlessness. Lucien Charlon, from Switzerland, ended up as runner-up, with Jørgen T. Borgly, from Norway, in third place.

In the teams category, ZendyZone (featuring Norwegians Oscar P. Rød and Jørgen T. Borgly) took home the iconic Ø trophy. As the tournament took place on French soil, it also crowned the local National Champion: Côme Girardot, who returned recently to the competitive circuit after a long injury, lived up to his legend and took the title. All detailed results can be found on the official Live Heats page of the event.

The event was broadcast live on the official DØDS Diving League YouTube channel in English, while French-speaking fans of the sport could follow it live in their language on the Riding Zone YouTube channel. Just like the whole series, the DDL World Tour Aquafolies 2026 event will also be covered by ESPN in the United States and distributed to more than 60 countries worldwide.

The global circuit will now head back to the Americas for its next event: the DDL World Tour Senderland 2026, which will take place at the Senderland Festival in New Hampshire on July 4th and add to the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.
